Multi-genre Author. Podcast Host. Poet. Word Geek. Bibliophile.
I changed my life seeking purpose, joy and peace. I'd always been a reader, writer of poetry and short stories, as well as a content creator in my professional life. But, a move to Costa Rica was an unexpected pivot into author life.

I found my people, joining a Black Writer's Group that met weekly along the beach. This is how I found my voice again which had been lost to stress and fury. I slowly began to write. Poetry came first, inspired by the natural beauty of my new home. Short stories of creative nonfiction began to flow as I'd written in high school. Then, I tried my hand at fiction, intent on writing a short love story. That story became my debut novel.

Love At Second Sight released in 2024. It is a love story that centers Black Love and Black Joy, following the journey of FMC Shane, a Single Mom and poet. Written in descriptive prose, this page-turner features unforgettable characters and is infused with lyrics and poetry. Soon after, I released my first poetry collection, Mule of the World, a compilation of poetry written in college and as a new mother. It is volume one of a series which includes Love LETTERS, Estoy Esperándote and Sexfunky.

Works in progress include a spin-off of my debut novel, featuring Mike a fan favorite from Love At Second Sight; a collection of humorous vignettes for women; two poetry collections; and a YA novel entitled, Bluff. I am also co-host of a podcast in its second season, Writing While Black.
