Q:
I want to make it a vacation. Can I book a longer trip?
A:
Absolutely! We encourage it. Although the book events are the 13 & 14th, satisfy your wanderlust and make it a vacation! The For LOVERS Only room block is available for longer stays. Simply book your room nights and flight to include the 13th and 14th. Shuttle service may be arranged dependent on the number of people with the same arrival date.
Q:
I looked at the map and see that I fly into SJO Airport, but it seems far from the Caribbean coast.
A:
Correct. SJO Airport is an approximately 4 - 5 hours drive from the Caribbean Coast. We recommend taking a shuttle or a domestic flight of approximately 30 minutes via Sansa (located next to SJO).

Where is the book event being held?
A:
The Love At Second Sight book event is being held at Gigi'O's in Puerto Viejo, a vibrant restaurant that features a gallery space and a museum. It is an approximately 15 minute drive or taxi ride from the host hotel. Learn more.

What activities are available during my stay?
A:
There are many activities available, dependent on your interests. There is the beach, shopping in Limon, restaurants and bars, hiking, ziplining, surfing, horseback riding and various local tours.

Are there many animals and insects?
A:
Costa Rica is known for its jungles and wild life. Other than the port city of Limon, the towns along the Caribbean Coast are small and rustic with a vibrant culture. There are lizards, iguanas, sloths, monkeys and insects; all keep their distance except the mosquitoes (however they are not worse than the east coast of the United States). There is also lots of sand and it can be dusty. If you are afraid of creatures, this may not be the trip for you.
